Meet Dr. Jessica Schaeffer

Dr. Jessica Schaeffer was raised in Ankeny, Iowa. She began her academic journey at Luther College in Decorah, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Driven by a commitment to public service, she went on to complete dual masters degrees in Public Health and Healthcare Administration at Des Moines University. Her experience in public health deepened her passion for helping others, ultimately leading her to pursue a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Trained in all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Schaeffer is dedicated to providing high quality, patient centered care and takes pride in helping patients regain both function and confidence in their smiles. Dr. Schaeffer is excited to return to her hometown and reconnect with the community.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling having visited over 20 countries, long walks with her dog Ollie, and spending time with family and friends.
